Hi, I’m Kay, the person behind The Card Roost.

I’ve been a Pokémon fan for years, but my love for the Pokémon TCG has grown into something much bigger than collecting cards.

I’m a Pokémon Professor in Michigan and enjoy learning about the history of the TCG, helping new players find their footing, and of course, looking for Pokémon cards wherever I happen to be. This girl never skips digging through a bulk bin of cards.

I created The Card Roost as a place to share the things I’ve learned along the way. My goal is to make Pokémon TCG information easier to understand and easier to find.

The Card Roost is an independent, unofficial Pokémon fan resource and is not affiliated with or endorsed by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, or Game Freak.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you find something useful here!

Why “The Card Roost”?

I’ve always had a soft spot for bird Pokémon, and Pidgey has a special place in my heart. “The Card Roost” seemed like the perfect name for a place where Pokémon TCG information could gather.
